Q. Will the natural gas that I receive from GasMark be of the same quality as from the utility?
A. It is of exactly the same quality. The only change that you will see is that you will be billed for your gas supply by GasMark. Q. Will UGI continue to provide services if I switch to GasMark as our supplier? A. Yes. UGI Utility will continue to provide metering and safety services. UGI is a regulated public utility, and they own the pipes and distribution system that brings the natural gas to your facility. UGI gets paid a fee to deliver gas to your meter. This fee is paid to UGI whether you choose a new supplier or stay with the utility. Q. Is UGI Energy Services, Inc./GasMark the same company as UGI Utilities, Inc? A. No. GasMark is an affiliated company. The prices charged by GasMark for natural gas are not regulated by the PA Public Utilities Commission. Customers are not required to purchase natural gas from GasMark to receive the same quality of distribution service from UGI Utilities, Inc. |
